Who we are
Bryce and Tawnya were raised in Clovis and Fresno, California. Both have graduated California State University Fresno as English majors and both have taught at the high school level.
Bryce began teaching in 1997 and continues to this day. Bryce coached forensic speech and debate for eight years. His specialty was “humorous interpretation”, “dramatic interpretation” and “duo interpretation”. Tawnya raises their three children and is currently working to assist Inspiration Studios.
Bryce always had an interest in movies and performing. As a youth, he acted in school productions and would take his father’s camcorder to film his own commercials and short films. He focused in commercial broadcasting in high school, but in college he focused on the field of teaching. Even though he has been teaching for more than nine years, his heart has been pulling him back to his true interest in making movies. Bryce worked with a local talent firm teaching acting classes, has appeared in television commercials, and taught and directed stage productions.
Working with high school students, he coached twelve areas of speech, four areas of debate and student congress. His achievements have eared him multiple state and national awards. He moved on to screenplay writing and has finished eight scripts. Bryce enjoyed creating screenplays, but discovered that once the script was purchased, those in the system could change the material. He feels very strongly about creating positive media for the general public and found the idea of a studio adding coarse words, sexual situations and graphic violence to his screenplays unacceptable.
The only alternative was to dive in and learn all that he could about the filmmaking process. Bryce has spent the past four years delving into the world of movie-making to learn all the aspects of the business. Since that time, he has polished five scripts for production, taught a filmmaking class, and has been a finalist judge for the Kern County Film Festival.
Bryce and Tawnya have formed Inspiration Studios to put the fun back into going to the movies.
